Most of the work of Jack Vance is out of print. The  Vance Integral Edition  has accomplished a complete restoration of all of Jack Vance's published work. The restoration involved careful reference to original manuscripts when available, comparison of all published versions, and finally consultation with the author himself. The VIE editions were available only by subscription to the full 44 volume set.  Subscriptions are now closed.

Fortunately, the Vances have authorized Edition Andreas Irle to produce the individual VIE books, provided those works are currently out of print. EAI texts are printed from the same files which the VIE sent to their printer, but corrected per VIE errata sheets. These books contain the most authentic Vance texts in existence.

Edition Andreas Irle is experienced in publishing Jack Vance's work. The quality, the feel in the hand, and the readability of the German editions inspired the VIE. The EAI books are produced by a “Print on Demand” process which requires, to be practical, a minimum number of copies to be ordered. Your order is a subscription which will be filled in batches of POD print runs for a minimum of 20 books. EAI has chosen high quality materials which are expected to be durable and attractive.

We would like to hear from readers about their interest in other Jack Vance books they would like to obtain. The first run was chosen by popularity: it is stunning that the Lyonesse series is not now available to the public in the U.S. Collectors may wish to obtain some hard to find titles, such as Vandals of the Void or Bad Ronald.
